Delta Sky Club JFK Terminal 4, Concourse A

For a while, Delta's single, large Sky Club at JFK in the B Gates of Terminal 4 remained packed, with limited space available. To deal with this issue, Delta opened a second (and more modern) Sky Club at JFK in the A Concourse. To access the lounge, you will need a SkyTeam premium cabin ticket, such as a ticket in Delta One. Being a Sky Club member, as well as some Delta and American Express cards can get you in the club. This new club is smaller than the older B Gates club, but it has modern light fixtures and a classy color pallet, giving the space a nice accent.
Throughout the Sky Club, you will find plenty of comfortable seating, with table space and charging ports. There are plenty of plush chairs and finely upholstered couches. The lounge's full-size bar has its own mood that sets it apart from the rest of the lounge, with marble counter space and modern light fixtures. You can order alcoholic beverages complimentary in the Sky Club.
As far as amenities, the club fares pretty well, except for the fact that there are no showers. There is an indoor Sky Deck, which is good for plane spotting, as well as modern phone booths that are good for working. The bathrooms are stocked with Grown Alchemist products and are clean.
As far as food options, the club has a full size buffet, with hot and cold options, and even dessert. There is a coffee machine, and a soda machine by the food station. I love the food at Sky Clubs in general, and its way better than what you get at a United Club or Admirals Club.
The customer service at the lounge wasn't great, as the staff threatened me to stop filming and weren't the nicest about it. This shocked me because in 2024, everyone films the travel experience. Other than that, I loved the JFK Sky Club and I would certainly come back.
