Marriott and Blade Team Up to Offer Free Helicopter Transfers when staying at Certain Luxury Hotels in NYC

Marriott’s Luxury Group hotels want their travelers to not only avoid NYC traffic but take in scenic views of the iconic New York skyline from a helicopter this summer.
The Marriott Luxury Group consists of brands such as Ritz-Carlton, Edition, JW Marriott, and W Hotels. Marriott is partnering with Blade, a helicopter transport company, to offer hotel guests staying at any of these properties a free round-trip helicopter transfer service. The service is currently available from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport or Newark Liberty International Airport until September 2, 2024.
Guests must be staying at least two nights in a suite at one of the following hotels to qualify for the helicopter ride:
● The Luxury Collection Hotel in Midtown Manhattan
● JW Marriott Essex House in NYC
● The Ritz-Carlton New York Nomad
In addition, hotel guests are provided with a car service from the hotel to the Blade Lounge, where the helicopter departs either on East 34th or West 30th street. Both lounges are inspired by Marriott’s Luxury Group hotels, with music curated by W Hotels and the Edition’s signature Le Labo scent. At the Blade Lounge on West 30th Street, Marriott’s Luxury Group has a bar on-site serving beverages inspired by Marriott hotels, such as the St. Regis Bloody Mary and the W’s signature Paloma. There is an exclusive JW Garden providing the garnishes for cocktails.
A complimentary helicopter transfer service is a perk of booking one of the suites at the luxury Marriott properties. You can also book a regular room at one of the participating hotels and take advantage of preferred pricing with Blade to enjoy the experience of a Marriott Luxury Group property.
